Itsy Bitsy spider… Capturing images of insects is one of my favorite things, which is a bit strange as I have a love/hate relationship with a lot of them… Spiders being one. While I find them to be a most interesting subject for photos, I really find them creepy otherwise. There is a wastewater treatment area not far from where I live. The area is pretty large and has trails around that they allow the public to utilize. I love to get there early, before sunrise, so I can capture all the little creatures before they are warm enough to do much! This guy was about 15 feet above me tucked in his web looking down at me. Having to take the camera off the tripod for such a long shot made me just a tad nervous, as I really wanted this one to be in focus. The angle was one that made the “little” guy appear as if he was walking a tightrope down the side of the building...
